giddy-up!!!

OH MY GOD!!!! I am as sleepy as hell, having slept late last night but a smile is plastered all over my face. I watched the Shinhwa DVD we got yesterday and it was so "effin" good!! oh wow!! where do I begin? How about the fact that the talk parts/spiels had english subtitles?!! woohoo!!! oh rapture! oh joy!! i was so giddy last night because I would be able to understand what the heck these guys talked about during their concert. albeit the eng sub was a bit fobby, it was still bearable. Plus, the DVD had this special feature where you can just zoom in on your preferred member and watch him do his thing for the entire concert!!! waaaaaaaahhhhh!!! It also had a clip from their debut which was so hillarious (you know what i'm talking about, Tina). basta!! the dvd was worth it!!! may mini photobook pa!!! coolness!!! :) I am still on a high.

I just finished reading Angels & Demons. wow!! what can i say? i'm turning into a Dan Brown (author of Da vinci code) fan. He spins a good story. hehe!! gotta find his other works.

oh, and i did the quiz on tina bebe's page and guess what....... I am a God too!!! :) so kneel before me, son of Jor-el (hehe!!! for those who don't know, that's a line from Superman II).

How grammatically correct are you?

Grammar God!
You are a GRAMMAR GOD!

Congratulations! If your mission in life
is not already to preserve the English tongue,
it should be. You can smell a grammtical
inaccuracy from fifty yards. Your speech is
revered by the underlings, though some may
blaspheme and call you a snob. They're just
jealous. Go out there and change the world.

randomness

darn it!! the She's on Duty dvd was a bust! I didn't buy it coz the quality wasn't clear. so sad. was looking forward to watching Gong yoo over the weekend. So we bought Jenny and Juno instead. unfortunately, that dvd had a a seizure in the middle of the movie so I wasn't able to find out what happened to Jenny or Juno. Dang! just as the story was getting to be interesting. I had to bring the dvd back to the shop so it could be replaced. And just my luck that they didn't have any stock left. I got No Manners instead (that's the name of the movie). It stars the same guy from Arahan. If i am not mistaken his name is Ryo Seong Beom. sheesh. i hafta look it up to be sure.

ooooh!!! my friend gave me Super rookie episodes last saturday. hehe!! i've been wanting to watch it since it started. Eric is there and i wanna see him in all his goofiness. unfortunately, it did not have eng sub. good luck na lang sa akin! hehe!! haven't attempted to watch the Love Story in harvard episodes that she gave me (also with no eng sub). well, i did watch episode 1 and i kept fast forwarding it and i was able to catch a scene where Lee Jung Jin and Kin Rae Won were speaking in english. lol! let's just say na.......... no comment. hehe!!

at least i saw gong yoo and jung woo sung last night on showbiz extra. now that put a smile to my face. i guess it's obvious that i'm having a hard time coming up with something to post. hehe!

pains and joys

my calves are killing me!!! i went to batangas yesterday for an occular on resorts where we could have our company teambuilding. as to why i get to join these sojourns and get a day off from office, let's just say that bibo kasi ako. hehe!!

anyway, when we had our teambuilding last year in Subic, I was able to wiggle my way out of joining the mountain trek because of my bum knee. so while my officemates slid down and struggled back up the mountain, i was busy fanning myself, under the shade of a tree near the butterfly park. but yesterday, i had no choice. one of the resorts we went to had this more than 100 steps going down the mountain. we had to go down because the resort's "effin" office was way down there. i could have stayed in the car but it was so freakin hot in Batangas that i would die of dehydration from the heat. so down we went, and unfortunately aside from having bad knees, i haven't had any excercise in god knows how long so by the 50th step, my knees were shakin really bad!! haha! if i wasn't in so much pain i would have been laughing at myself. i literally had to hang on for dear life on my officemate's shoulder!!! what a funny sight! i was bigger than him!! lol! :)

anyway, those steps took their toll on my legs. i could barely go up the steps here in the office. my ballet flats are my best friends today. my heels are taking a vacation. my kingdom for a massage!!!!

aside from my aches and pains, today seems to be very promising. my shinhwa 2004 winter story dvd set was shipped from Korea today so there's a chance that i might get it next week. hurray!!! and my supplier told me that she has reserved me a dvd of the movie She's on duty. yay!!!!! can't wait to go and pick it up tom. Gong yoo, i will be seeing you tomorrow! :) now i can use the phrase angie taught me: at ssa!!!!

why oh why?

why is it that people are never satisfied with what they have? we always want "that" when we already have "this," we wish we could be like "her" instead of making do with "myself?" what is it about us that we have to covet something else? is it insecurity or just plain greed? i ask these questions because i am guilty of this "thing," this "syndrome," or whatever it's called.

i hate going to reunions with my friends from high school and college, not that i do not want to see my friends of days gone by, because i am ecstatic to see em and to find out what is happening in their lives. it's just that i end up being miserable after these "bonding sessions," because i wish that i had their job, their figure, their face, or their latest gadgets. oh don't worry. i'm not going to do a remake of the talented mr. ripley (i'm not that desperate). i just end up comparing myself to them and i find that i am not at the same level as they are. i always ask myself "why is it that they get to do all these cool stuff that i so want to do?" don't get me wrong, i don't hate em for it, i hate myself. I would often berate myself with "why didn't you do that when you had the chance?"

sigh!!! thank goodness winter isn't a season here in Manila. Otherwise, my winter doldrums would be year round. :) hehe!!

on a brighter note: after tonight, i hope to complete the entire season 1 eps of love letter. woohoo!!! i guess we just choose the battles that we can win.

another blog page for moi!!!!

woohoo!!! my first post here and it's still about.......... (drum roll please!) korean stuff!!! hehe!

yesterday, i added another hottie to my crush list. yes i saw him in another korean movie. the title of the movie is a moment to remember.

and his name is jung woo sung and i love him! haha! :) actually, i've seen him in some CFs and in musa before but i never paid any extra attention to him before but after watching a moment to remember yesterday... blag!! i fell for him (it also helped that his character was like sooooooooo ummmm..... cool!! if only his character were real!! he reminds me of a taller, buff-er, scruffier and tanned version of jang hyuk. gawd!!!! i need a life!

i'm also kinda annoyed. this ain't korean stuff related though. i was on sick leave yesterday and when i checked my inbox... dang!! it was flooded with emails from Forensics G. Baggies selling me viagra and stuff. jeez!! what on earth am i supposed to do with those? grrrrr!!! i hate spam!!! but i miss my mystery spammer Kang Ta. hehe!!!

that's all for my first post i guess. blech!
